Barbara mentioned in Political Article

August 22, 2010
Barbara Olschner, a Republican from Santa Rosa Beach running for Congress, District 2, wrote to her supporters Friday, too, saying, “I have been focused on thoughtful and realistic initiatives for a better country and a stronger economy as opposed to marching in line with the Republican Party Dogma that, in my opinion, is too greatly influenced by the voices of intolerance on the far right of the political spectrum. I am a conservative for sure. But I recognize that, in America and under our Constitution, there is the genius of compromise. Not on all things. But on many things. Both parties have lost track of civility, tolerance and compromise and this does not bode well for the American people as a whole.” Read the whole article

CHARLIE RANSON ENDORSES BARBARA OLSCHNER FOR CONGRESS

August 16, 2010

“I am pleased to endorse Barbara Olschner as my candidate to represent Florida’s 2nd Congressional. By experience, training, disposition, and intellect Barbara is the best-suited among a group of well-intended candidates to confront the challenges and to provide the leadership required of our next Representative.” Said Ranson.

Ranson is firmly convinced that Barbara understands that the challenges that face our Nation are complex and that they do not lend themselves to simple solutions based on 15 second soundbites. Barbara knows that there are core principles that cannot be compromised as we strive to achieve lasting and effective solutions to those challenges that threaten our Nation’s leadership position in a dangerous and unpredictable world.

June 21, 2010
